Nominees For ITEA 2018 Released,Check it out.

The excitement surrounding the () has doubled as Showbiz Network Ghana, the organizers of the awards have announced the nominees for the maiden edition of the awards, today, Saturday September 15, 2018.

 

The award which is aimed at ensuring positive student attitude while identifying and honoring deserving Tertiary Students across the nation who have achieved certain enviable heights, is an annual event with its maiden event to be staged later this December.

According to Mr. Afunya Kofi Daniel (AKD), the events manager of SBN, there were a total of 2,744 nominations filed in this year's edition of the award. Despite the tough competition for each category, the Faculty responsible for the event came out with a final list of 208 nominees to be voted for. The breakdown for the various categories goes as follows:

 

Social Category – 117 nominees

Arts Category – 62 Nominees

Honorary Category – 29 Nominees

 

VOTING

Voting for the various nominees begins on 1stOctober, 2018 through to 17th December, 2018. The process involves six major mediums. The breakdown of these mediums, percentagewise is given below:

 

USSD – 50%.

This will involve using an USSD code (OUT SOON) and following a prompt to vote. The code will be provided on 1ST October, 2018.

All nominees will be tasked to gain 1000 and more votes by this means. The total income generated from the extra votes (any vote after the 1000 votes) will be split into two, where 70% will be allocated to SBN for the progress of the award and 30% to the Nominee.

 

YOUTUBE – 15% (LIKES+ SHARES)

This involves viewing Nominees' Vlogs (Tasked Videos) and liking respective videos of the nominees if he/she has best convinced you about the project. Viewers are required to share links to other platforms. Each nominee is required to have a minimum of 1.5K likes and shares combined + 1.5K views.

 

FACEBOOK – 5% (LIKES + SHARES)

This involves liking and sharing respective flyers and Project photographs of the nominees with hashtag #ITEA2018 to trend the event. Each nominee is required to have a minimum of 1K likes and shares combined within the period.

 

INSTAGRAM – 5% (LIKES).

This involves liking respective flyers and Project photographs of the nominees and commenting with a hashtag #ITEA2018 to trend the event. Each nominee is required to attain a minimum of 1K likes within the period.

 

TWITTER – 10% (RETWEETS).

This involves retweeting respective flyers and Project Photographs of the nominees with hashtag #ITEA2018 to trend the event. Each nominee is required to attain a minimum of 1K retweets within the period.

 

WEBSITE – 15% (POLLS).

This involves voting via our website page. A link will be provided for individuals to be able to cast their votes for their favorite nominees. Progress of votes would be indicated by a bar chart visible to all. Total votes accrued by each nominee would be used in finding scores for this category.

 

The above stated percentages give a total of 100 %. Analytical report of these will be provided to the general public.

Abena Korkor Attacks Mp (Video)

The Ningo Prampram Member of Parliament, Sam George, has come under fire from socialite for not fixing the roads in his district.


Korkor posted a video of her community's terribly maintained roads that was shot in Tema Community 25 after recent rains.


She claims that Uber drivers won't come to the neighborhood to give rides because of how terrible the roads are.


She added that, as a result, she must travel in a motor vehicle to do all of her errands. As Korkor hauled local MP Sam George, she did not hold back.

She also had some harsh words to say about Stephanie Karikari, the former Miss Ghana, and former President Mahama, among many others.

After making fun of Stonebwoy's disabilities, Ghanaian reggae dancehall musician has adamantly refused to apologize to the Ghana Society of Physically Disabled (GSPD).

After Wale made fun of Stonebwoy at the just-ended Salafest, the GSPD urged the singer to recant his remarks and issue an apology.

However, disregarded society's plea in a widely shared video response.

The “On God” hitmaker instead questioned society's reasoning for the demand and railed against it.


The outspoken performer said, “You can't create a problem for me; I am a problem myself.” “Everything we are doing is creating an association and paying dues; there is even an unemployed people's association.”

“Kwaku Manu Is Very Rich And Owns A House In East Legon” – Oboy Siki Reveals

In an interview with Angel FM, well-known Kumawood actor Oboy Siki praised his colleague for his public persona despite his affluence.


He said that Manu is someone who worked hard to get his wealth in the entertainment sector and does not show it off in public as some do.

He said that , the actor, had constructed an opulent home in East Legon and added that there were other things he had done behind the scenes that were not made public.


A person such as Kwaku Manu presents himself as impoverished, but in reality, he is not; he just chooses not to show it off. Even if he has a home in East Legon and all, he does not lead an opulent life. I don't give a damn about what he thinks; I'm just telling the truth,” he remarked.

Actor Kwaku Manu, who is highly recognized in the nation, currently hosts a show on which he conducts interviews with celebrities, which he shares on many social media networks.
