Anas deserves highest national award – Ama K
Ghanaian actress and television personality, Ama K Abebrese says investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas is a hero who deserves the highest national award.
Her call follows Anas' latest exposé on corruption in the judiciary.
The award winning actress believes that it takes more than journalistic work to reveal the rot in the country's judicial system.
Anas Aremeyaw Anas in a yet-to-be released video caught more than 30 Judges and about 100 court officials taking bribes to influence justice.
The two-year investigative video, titled ‘Ghana in the Eyes of God – Epic of Injustice' is set to premiere at the Accra International Conference Centre on September 22.
The Judicial Council, after the exposé has suspended 22 Circuit Court judges and Magistrates effective September 10, 2015.
Reacting to the exposé that has grabbed national headlines, Ama believes that Anas deserves the highest award of the land.
She posted on Twitter: “Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his team are not just investigative journalists. They are heroes and deserve the highest award of the land.”
There are reports that Anas Aremeyaw Anas has come under intense pressure, since the announcement of the investigation, from high-profile personalities to abandon the move to expose the rot in the country's judiciary.
It's unclear if he will go ahead with the premiere of the video on September 22.

“I Envy Kofi Kinaata A Lot” – Okyeame Kwame (Video)
Ghanaian rapper Kwame Nsiah-Apau, known by his stage name Okyeame Kwame and nicknamed Rap Doctor, opened up in a recent interview with YouTuber Kwadwo Sheldon about how he and rapper and cum singer Martin King Arthur made up a great song together.
According to the veteran rapper who reevaluated in the interview, he envies Kofi Kinaata for his lyrical prowess. He also revealed how Kofi was able to write his chorys with ease and, in the end, even helped him (Okyeame Kwame) write some rap lines.
When asked which elements propel him to come out with nice songs, rapper Okyeame Kwmane revealed that he gets to the studio happily to make songs; not drugs or anything else pushes him to write good songs. However, he revealed that he feels best when the lights in the studio are on and clear to enhance his rapping prowess.
In this same interview, Okyeame Kwame revealed that he is a happy person, he does not hold grudges, and he is compassionate.
