Social media has become order of the day and people from all walks of life are taking advantage of it to showcase what they are doing etc.
In Ghana the story is not different but one thing that is obviously not different is a detailed social media profile and how to use it.
Most people still believe being on the social media is an option however we decided to
deliver to the interactivity of some Ghanaian artiste who are really doing well. A lot were initially nominated but upon scrutiny they fell off when the standard was raised high. Some of these people have social media administrators and that one goes in their favor.
SARKODIE
Multiple international Award winner Sarkodie has a detail Facebook page with a lot of likes.
He is undoubtedly the most interactive artiste on Twitter and usually post with pictures that looks professional and artistic. Besides updating his fans on what he has been up to, he uses it for commercial purposes as well. His just ended American ‘History in the Making Concert' few months ago organized by TM Entertainment was dominantly promoted on Twitter. Have you thought of that?
He has used it to market his Sark Collections. He has a vibrant YouTube channel for his video and well as Instagram. His #TwiFriday with Sark is just a plus for him.
FOKN BOIS
Mensa and Wanlov. Another wonderful alternative music group that uses social media to tell the world what they have been up to. Their following is amazing and their posts are always intriguing. Their sense of humor grabs people's attention to stay put. They have detailed account and reply post and retweets frequently. Wanlov mostly write post that usually end up in newspaper and major websites in Ghana and beyond.

The VRMG boss recently created a new Facebook account that is gradually buzzing and attracting a lot of comment and likes anytime he post something. He is very interactive on Twitter and no wonder he did a ‘mention ceremony' in one of his previous records to say thank you to his real followers. That alone tells you how significant social media is. Edem has a strong YouTube channel and even have a blogspot account for his lyrics.

Always sharing content from their Youtube account and very interactive on these platforms. A recent chat with one radio station online producer he told me Gallaxy is the only act in Ghana who usually trace what people about them online using hashtag and other social media tools. They recently signed to Vevo to boost their digital sales.
EFYA/BECCA/WIYALA/MzVee
Yes we have to merge the three because they are all running at the same pace. They choose to post less but reply more. One post attract a lot of comment, retweet and quotes.
They usually do their thing on Instagram because women we all know loves images and always love to share with people. Upon several deliberations we have concluded that they have more tasks and other things to do on the side prevent them from rocking shoulders with their male counterparts.
Others:
Okyeame Kwame

Kaakie
We want to use this opportunity to encourage Ghanaian artiste to do more with the social media. Posting or tweeting alone is not enough. They should get interactive with their followers..
