Evett Amina Salifu born on the 10th of December, 1995 to a Sierra Leonean mother and Ghanaian man, Evey Aminey stands as one of the new breeds in Ghanaian music set to leave an indelible mark in the evolving industry. She is a Hiphop-RnB recording artist – rapper, and for that matter, a femcee. However with the capability of versatility, she also records other genres and styles of music such as soul and afro pop. Evey has always had a knack for anything and everything entertainment. She started as a dancer and choreographer in her elementary school years at Wistsand International, a basic school located in Tema.

At home, she grew on afro pop, soul and jazz unknowingly building her love for music poco a poco. She then moved to Keta Senior High Technical School where she studied General Arts. In her high school years, she grew more and more obsessed with the arts, gaining much popularity in her school years as a choreographer and rapper. This was when she recognised her hidden unearthed talent of music. Unlike most of her peers who chose to give up on their talents after their school years, she continued to venture into music professionally. Two years after high school, she decided to take on music on a more professional and commercial level.

Evey best expresses her feeling and emotions through music while she derives her motivation to compose from her very own personal experiences, struggles and several other life encounters which induce her creation process. Nonetheless she is inspired by works of accomplished artistes such as Dappy, Dej Loaf, EL, Eminem, and M.anifest.

She is set to release her debut single later in 2016 while also working on several other projects she will release in the coming months. She is also a photo model and currently pursues a degree in sound engineering to increase her skill in composition, recording and production. Constantly putting effort into the art and honing her craft, Evey Aminey hopes to be a household name in Ghana, Africa and world.

Aminey will team up with the Dzidzorkporkpor hitz maker JJ Gonami on his label and will be the Queen for the Seethem Empire, Mr. E disclosed to Pemtsikata Entertainment.
