I don’t believe in prophecies – Okyeame Kwame.
Hiplife artiste, Okyeame Kwame has revealed that he does not believe in prophecies.
According to the rapper, none of the numerous prophecies about his life has come to pass.
Okyeame Kwame disclosed this in an interview on Joy FM's Cosmopolitan Mix while recounting a prophecy a pastor made years ago based on his hairstyle.
“I don't believe in prophecies because I'm 40 years old; all the prophecies I have heard never came through. Not once. I remember when I left America to live in Ghana, my mother took me to an all-night service. This guy laid his hands on my afro and said I smoke wee, I won't take care of my mother, I will marry a white lady when I travel,” he said.
Described by many music enthusiasts as a versatile musician, Okyeame Kwame is married to Anica with two kids. He told host, Amanda Jissi that there was a prophecy at the initial stage of their relationship that it will not stand the test of time.
“The year before I married, my mother took me to a pastor who said I was in a relationship and by June, there will be a breakup. Eleven years now and I'm still waiting for ‘June',” he noted.
Okyeame Kwame recently released a song titled, ‘It's Ok' aimed at motivating the listener to persevere despite the challenges that may impede their progress.
