Recording Artiste Diamond Appiah’s attempt to be a Member of Parliament ended in miserable way.
Out of the 75, 792 votes casted in the Trobu Constituency in Amasaman, Greater Accra Region, Appiah got only 429 votes.
Her campaign was characterized by name-calling of political opponents and anyone who dared disagree with her. Prominent of her list of ‘haters’ were MzBel and Afia Schwarzenegger.
