VGMA: There will be TROUBLE if I don’t win Highlife Artiste of the Year- Kwami Eugene warns
Ghana’s fastest rising Highlife singer, Kwami Eugene has warned of an impending confusion if he is not crowned the‘Highlife Artiste of the Year’ for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) come 2019, MyNewsGh.com can report.
According to him, he is currently the only Highlife artiste in the country who has been able to produce best highlife music of his time which have all been hits back to back.
“I’m more focus on the Highlife Artiste of the Year category than the Artiste of the year simply because I cherish Highlife and that is what I do”, he revealed.
He argued that if he doesn’t get nominated for the Artiste of The Year, he will be cool but warned “I don’t get nominated for the Highlife Artiste of The Year, it means I’m not working at all. I keep saying highlife is my kind of music and so if I don’t get nominated I will do something to somebody”. He warned.
