Inter Tertiary Excellence Awards 2018: Katanga crowned best hall + full list of winners

The University Hall (Katanga) of the Kwame NKrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has once again been crowned the best Hall in 2018 at the maiden edition of the Inter Tertiary Excellence Awards.

The latest award to the ‘Fellows’ makes it the third time in 2018 that the prestigious hall has officially been granted the bragging right as the overall best hall in Ghana by three Notable Tertiary Awards Event Hub; National Students Awards, Ghana Tertiary Awards and the Inter Tertiary Excellence Awards for at least the next one year.

The maiden edition of the Inter Tertiary Excellence Award saw hosts of Tertiary Students across the country, as well as highly-profiled personalities and the general public, converged in the plush Orchid Auditorium of the Ghana College Of Physicians and Surgeons on Saturday December 29, 2018.Ghanaian Female Journalist, Nana Aba Anamoah and Dancehall Artist, Stonebwoy were honored ‘Tertiary Favourite Female and Male Celebrities Of The Year’ respectively.

The Inter Tertiary Excellence Awards (ITEA), a unique award scheme has been setup by Showbiz NetworGhana (SBN) to acknowledge the achievements of exceptional Tertiary Students in the country making significant impact in Ghana. This year’s edition of the award which was also inaugural edition was built on the theme: “Milestones Celebration”.

Ghanaian rapper Kwame Nsiah-Apau, known by his stage name and nicknamed Rap Doctor, opened up in a recent interview with YouTuber Kwadwo Sheldon about how he and rapper and cum singer Martin King Arthur made up a great song together.

According to the veteran rapper who reevaluated in the interview, he envies for his lyrical prowess. He also revealed how Kofi was able to write his chorys with ease and, in the end, even helped him (Okyeame Kwame) write some rap lines.

When asked which elements propel him to come out with nice songs, rapper Okyeame Kwmane revealed that he gets to the studio happily to make songs; not drugs or anything else pushes him to write good songs. However, he revealed that he feels best when the lights in the studio are on and clear to enhance his rapping prowess.

In this same interview, Okyeame Kwame revealed that he is a happy person, he does not hold grudges, and he is compassionate.
