Congratulations, Sellally Lawson

The 19th congregation of the Ho Technical University came off yesterday at the GM Afeti auditorium and among the graduands was our very own Bismark Sellally Lawson – the indefatigable Boss Lally.

The hardworking and versatile Event Emcee who began his radio career from Tosh FM 103.9 MHz and now with Global FM and Volta One Television has graduated with Second Class Upper honors in Marketing.

In a Facebook post, Sellally recounts how he had successfully combined academic work with testing his strength in other areas. He also used the occasion to appreciate all persons who have in diverse ways contributed towards his upgrade in life.

Yesterday, I graduated from the Ho Technical University with a Second Class Upper Honors in Marketing and my friends were surprised because to them, I was too busy throughout my stay on campus.

Four of my close friends – Agamah Gad Selase, Bless Anorpaye, Najat Ibrahim and Emefa A Linda obtained Firs class with one of them – Bless Anopaye winning the Overall Marketing student Award which was based on the height of the CGPA.

While in school for the past three years, I was training and learning how to speak on radio as a radio presenter, I was training and learning how to speak through the microphone as an Event Emcee, I was learning and training how to organize events with 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 Klefe Yam Festival and 2018 Face of HTU being my major take.

Yesterday, after my graduation ceremony, I appeared on Volta's Premier TV station – V1 TV as someone who is learning to present on TV.

Together with my partner – Eddie Phamous also, I have been running a Non-Governmental Organization – www.bslinspirations.org where we are training some young girls and speaking to students across the municipality.

If you are reading this and still in school or about starting, please bear in mind that, it is possible to learn and groom yourself in several other fields alongside academic work. You cannot wait to finish school before launching into other things especially now that education has become a never-ending pursuit.

Finally, I want to appreciate everyone who invested a dime into this result. I know all of you are happy about this now. Your hearts are filled with excitement because you invested in something that is looking beautiful already.

God bless all my friends, all my spiritual fathers, my family, my teachers, and lecturers and those who gave me food and above all, to God. The photographers who helped in positioning my brand. You have all done well.

Let us now launch deep into the future while making impact and affecting the world in our own small way.
