”John Dumelo Only Campaigns On Social media, He Can’t Unseat Me” – MP Lydia Alhassan Brags

Incumbent Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency Mrs. Lydia Alhassan has revealed that her challenger for the upcoming general, John Dumelo will not be able to beat her.

The MP who took office in less than a year ago believes she has done a lot for the constituency that puts her ahead of her competitor John Dumelo of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

She revealed this in an interview with Osei-Bonsu on Asempa a Twi-speaking radio station in Accra, she said she is down to earth in her approach while John Dumelo relies on social media.

I would like to meet people one on one than on social media at all times. Some people rely on social media for their politics because that is their stronghold and my stronghold is Ayawaso West Wuogon where the people are, she said.

She expressed optimism that the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat is a traditional NPP seat and will forever remain so.

I have been widely accepted by the constituents and they are ever ready to retain me as MP so there would be no change come December because of my good works and what they have known me for over the years before now, she added.
