Ghanaian Film Producer, Dela Finn’s movie selected at the Marano Ragazzi Spot Festival in Italy
Ghanaian film producer, Dela Finn has got his yet to be released short film selected at the Marano Ragazzi Spot Festival in Italy.
The movie titled ABUSE speaks against DOMESTIC VIOLENCE and the need to kick against it in our societies.

Sharing the good news on Facebook, Dela Finn wrote:
“Congratulations to my Cast and Crew! ??? Our Short Film – ABUSED that speaks against DOMESTIC VIOLENCE has been Selected at the MARANO RAGAZZI SPOT FESTIVAL in ITALY. ?? ABUSED will be Screening from December 1 to 5, 2020. #SayNoToViolenceAgainstWomen Deland Films”

About Marano Ragazzi Spot Festival
The festival is organized annually where chance is given to film producers worldwide to submit their short films that tackles societal problems.
The participants create awareness with the use of modern technologies of communication, produce adverts to promote legality, social justice, peace, environmental protection and friendship among peoples, interracial and intercultural dialogue, and gender equality, with the idea to build a better future.
A jury is put in place to review the submitted short films and select the ones that are the best.
Awards & Prizes
The jury composed of experts in the communication of cinema and media education will select and admit to the Festival:
• 20 films for the Students section – International Youth Contest
• 20 films for the Filmmaker section – International Youth Contest
• 10 films for the Italy – International Youth Contest section
The selected videos will be evaluated during the days of the festival by a technical jury and a jury of the public “I vote too” The technical jury will be composed of 40 school children from Marano, from experts in cinema and communication, will be presided over by a boy.
The jury of the public “I vote too” is made up of all the students from the schools of Marano di Napoli and from delegations of schools in the Campania Region.
The juries will assign:
• The festival kite for the best film International Youth Contest students
• The festival kite for the best film International Youth Contest Filmmaker
• The festival kite for the best film International Youth Contest Italy
The International Youth Contest is divided into the categories Student, Filmmaker, Italy is reserved for short films with a maximum duration of 10 minutes (excluding any opening and closing credits), made by High School Students, Film Schools, Academies of Art and University, and by young Filmmakers under 30.
