‘Papa No’ at ECG ‘screwed’ Mzbel in return for an ambassadorial deal – Afia Schwarzenegger
In 2015, Mzbel was appointed as an ambassador in a campaign to educate Ghanaians on the need to conserve energy in the wake of the incessant power outages across the country.
The singer produced a song which was titled #helpstopdumsor.
She was subsequently tasked to lead in a campaign to educate Ghanaians on the need to conserve energy with her Help Stop Dumsor project which has Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), GRIDCO and Volta River Authority as sponsors.

But in the latest revelations made by Afia Schwarzenegger who is a former ally, Mzbel was not selected because she was fit for the job but because she slept with a “big man” at the Electricity Company of Ghana at the time.
She disclosed that Mzbel slept with several other big men in the NDC for favours knowing certainly that she did not fit for those positions and would not have been handed it if not for giving her body out to some people of influence.
