One of the industries that is mostly referred to as parasite industry is the Radio/television industry – as their successes depend largely on the stability of other industries especially the business community.

The radio and television industry in the Volta Region has not been that lucrative over the years as compared to its counterpart industries in other parts of the country and the spillover effect of the Corona Virus on activities in the industry is begging for resuscitation.
