Isreal Maweta Is a Music Legend Ghanaians Failed to Recognize – Manasseh Azure Awuni
Award-winning internationally acclaimed Ghanaian Investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni has publicly intimated that music fans in Ghana have failed to appropriately idolized a befitting legend like Isreal Nanevi Maweta.
He made this comment during one Maweta's performances on TV3's ShowBiz360.
Mr. Azure took to his official Facebook page and admonished Ghanaians to shine the light on Maweta since it's not too late.
He wrote;
”There are some legends who have eluded the limelight. Those who like Ewe music would agree with me that Israel Nanevi-Maweta is one of them”
Isreal Maweta has been a household name in the music space since inception a decade ago had remained a force to reckon with.
He is known for harmonizing the traditional Agbadza and contemporary circular rhythm to form a music niche for himself.
