Davido’s song ‘Fall’ becomes first Afrobeats music video to hit 200M views on Youtube.
Nigerian singer and songwriter, David Adedeji Adeleke popularly known as Davido has gotten his name in the record books as he becomes the first artiste to have an Afrobeat song hit 200m views on YouTube.
The music video which was directed by DAPS and was released on the video-sharing platform in June of 2017, was the first Afrobeats video to cross a 100m, 150m, and now 200m views on YouTube.
A fan page dedicated to the singer, gave this update recently, and acknowledging the milestone, Davido quoted the tweet as he recalled that the making of “Fall” was like a joke with producer, Kiddominant… but with the milestone, it’s given his music career, it’s now more than a joke.
Dedicating the achievement to his fans, the singer appreciated them for their never-ending support since the start of his career.
