“I Learnt How To Steal Songs From Kuami Eugene”-Mr. Drew Reveals

Mr Drew

Andrew Commey Otoo, well known as Mr. Drew of Highly Spiritual Music has said that Kuami Eugene, a contemporary Highlife artist, taught him how to “steal people’s songs.”

Recall that the singer-cum-dancer faced harsh criticism from music fans and critics last year after releasing and premiering his controversial “Eat” single, which was later removed from YouTube due to copyright issues with Rotimi’s “Love Riddim” track.

Kuami Eugene, on the other hand, has been chastised on many occasions for copying old hit songs and rebranding them as his own. Adane Best, a Highlife veteran, recently accused him of stealing his album.

Mr Drew referred to Kuami Eugene as his senior and mentor in the “sampling market” during an interview with Abeiku Santana of Okay FM.
