Ghanaian social media personality, Akuapem Poloo had accused DKB of squandering money provided to him on her behalf when she was in jail for exposing her 8-year-old son to indecency in an earlier story.
In a video posted to her Instagram page, the mother of one said that DKB had received a GHC4,000 donation in her name from a woman named Maame Alice without her knowledge, and that the woman had called her to express her dissatisfaction with her for not thanking her for her donation, despite the fact that she (Akuapem Poloo) had no knowledge of the donation.
She also said that her efforts to contact DKB after Maame Alice told her that the money had been donated to him has been unsuccessful, and she has appealed to Ghanaians to help him.
Well, in a latest update on the issue, Maame Alice, who Akuapem Poloo claimed sent money to her through DKB to support her and her son while she was in jail, called Kwasi Aboagye on the phone and refuted Akuapem Poloo’s claim that she gave her money through DKB.
According to Kwasi Aboagye, Maame Alice was dispatched by Ayisha Modi, who is currently in the United States, to contact Akuapem Poloo and make a GH5,000 cedi donation.
However, when the woman tasked with wiring the money on Ayisha Modi’s behalf called Akuapem Poloo on the phone, the latter rushed in to explain what they had intended to do for her after informing her that she called DKB.
This indicates that there is no iota of truth to what the actress said.
