The contemporary Highlife phenomenon, Eugene Kwame Marfo, also known as Kuami Eugene has proposed that the only way to market gospel songs is to promise such divine bits in the clubs in large numbers.
In an interview with Brown Berry on Y107.
9FM’s Ryse n Shyne, he referred to concerns from some Christians about him infusing his secular music with gospel song excerpts.
This suggestion that it is not right for him to infuse hip-hop or whatever kind of music he does with the gospel is incorrect, according to the ROCKSTAR, since it is his own way of evangelizing the gospel to the public.
In his own words, he said; If gospel music is made for people that are close to God, then it should be played only in the church because that is where you find people that claim they really love God. Evangelism is the ability to go out there and reach as many people to share things about God with so I think it is even best to use every single opportunity to do that
