Joe Mettle Shares Insight On How To Stay Relevant in Your Field
Joseph Oscar Nii Armah Mettle, best known as Joe Mettle, renowned praise and worship chief, has shared advice on how Ghanaians can own their art and stay relevant in their field.
In an interview with Mrs. Comfort Ocran on the Springboard Hangout Show, which airs on eTV Ghana, he first said that as technology advances, it is critical that people continue to improve their skills by reading widely and constantly learning.
He also noticed that many people, despite claiming to desire something, get exhausted quickly and give up, particularly when knocked around a few times, but this just means that they are not really prepared for what they want to do.
“Hard work is needed. It gets tiring at times, and there are sleepless nights, but remember that it all comes with sacrifice, and you must sacrifice your sleep and other things. “Sometimes you're exhausted, but you have a deadline to reach for something you have to do, so you sacrifice,” he said.
Joe Mettle went on to say that, according to the Bible, God has given us the ability to accumulate money, and that we must make good use of that ability.
“That power is ideas, imagination, invention, and all those things,” he said, “but the Bible states that after God has given you the power, which is the idea, there is a phase that he is not a part of. You'd have to make it yourself, and that's the strength you'd gain.”
According to Joe Mettle, improving one's skills, working hard, suffering sleepless nights, and persevering through the process to achieve acquisition power are all sure ways to remain important in one's sector.
