“Cyber Bullies Are Bitter” – Empress Gifty

Gifty Adorye, popularly known as Empress Gifty, renowned Ghanaian female songwriter and singer, has stated that those who attack others on social media are bitter people.

Empress Gifty discussed her thoughts on social media bullies and how they abuse individuals, particularly celebrities, in an interview with Kastle FM, a Cape Coast-based radio station.

Public personalities are among those who have been bullied on social media. Celebrities are held up as examples and are frequently verbally assaulted by social media bullies. These bullies, according to Empress Gifty, are bitter.

I usually convince myself that the majority of people who use harsh and derogatory phrases on social media are miserable.

“Some of them aren’t on your level, and some of them remark on your post out of jealousy,” Empress Gifty added.

“Some individuals are full of hatred, and their lives are so miserable that even what most people would consider beautiful is not attractive to them,” she stated on Kastle Drive.

Empress Gifty, on the other hand, stated that she is unconcerned about social media abuse, especially when perpetrators have a clear objective.

“So when I see people like that, I simply want to get closer to them and figure out why they’re doing what they’re doing. Those who I observe doing it on purpose, I don’t worry about,” She concluded.
