“I Used To Receive Threats From Media Personalities” – Kwabena Kwabena Reveals

George Kwabena Adu, popularly known in entertainment circles as Kwabena Kwabena, a legendary Ghanaian singer and guitarist, has said that he has received threats from several media people to pull him down as an artiste simply because they discovered themselves in the media space.

The ‘silky voice' hi-life artiste noted in an interview with Sammy Kay on the Go online program that the media does not form artistes and musicians, but that their medium adds to the making of an artist, hence the need for up-and-coming artists to stay grounded with their God-given abilities and push for higher heights rather than loosening oneself to the media.

According to Kwabena Kwabena, certain media people in Ghana who promote artists on their platforms believe they are so strong that if an artiste does not bow to their whims and caprices, they believe they can break you or bring you down, he ended.

However, Kwesi Arthur and Sarkodie, a multiple award-winning rapper, are shown rocking to his new song entitled “Winning” in a video that has gone viral on social media.
