“Legendary Musicians Need Proper Recognition” – Prince Bright
Legendary hip-life musician Prince Bright of Buk Bak fame has underlined the need of properly recognizing musicians who have had a successful career and contributed to Ghanaian music's development.
According to the multi-award-winning musician, who is widely regarded as one of Ghana's best vocalists, establishing a Hall of Fame program with musical luminaries admitted yearly would be a step in the right direction.
Prince Bright told GNA Entertainment that acknowledging music heroes would serve as a motivation to young artists who would give their all to help Ghanaian music grow across the world.
“A Hall of Fame program to honor our music heroes should be established since they have made significant contributions to the expansion of the music business.
“This type of acknowledgment will also motivate up-and-coming musicians to strive harder and give their all so that they, too, may be immortalized in the annals of Ghanaian music,” he said.
Prince Bright, on the other hand, was ecstatic with Ghanaian music's improvement throughout the years, particularly in terms of sound quality.
“Sound has changed since it was all analogue back in the day, but today you have more options to improve your sound quality.
“There is no question that sound has improved, and despite the advances achieved by other countries, we are on the right path,” he concluded.
