“No More Dresses To Expose My Body, I’ve Grown” – Wendy Shay (Video)
Wendy Asiamah Addo, known by the stage name Wendy Shay, the RuffTown records signee, has revealed her rebranding.
According to the artiste, who broke into the music industry with a sassy and sexual fashion sense, her new brand will see her “all covered up a little.”
She stated that her new brand will appeal to cooperative businesses as well as market her songs to society’s aged.
“It’s all part of my brand positioning; as you mature, some aspects in your lifestyle must change as well. One of the most important aspects to examine is a change in an artiste’s appearance. If they’re growing and attempting to tow a new lane,” Wendy Shay stated on Okay FM in an interview.
Wendy Shay has been chastised on multiple occasions for her choice of clothing, which many have deemed “too exposing,” but they will no longer have to worry because the singer has stated that she will be fully clothed.
The singer, who was dressed in an all-black blazer jacket for the radio interview, admitted that she isn’t ready to let go of her “sexiness.”
“I am still youthful and energetic; you will see some sensuality, but this is how I want to carry myself; a little covered up since Wendy Shay’s brand is rising, and I need to appeal to the elderly and cooperating institutions,” she continued.
Deloris Frimpong, the TV presenter, was unfollowed by the singer on Instagram in 2020 after she made a remark about her “strange clothing.”
