Talented Ghanaian songstress, Gyakie has been listed among one of the main performers for MTV Base, YouTube African Day Concert, and has become the only Ghanaian to be billed for the concert.
At this year’s performance, the highly anticipated worldwide event will feature Africa’s next global wave of talent.
Elaine from South Africa, rapper Focalistic, rap duo Blaq Diamond, Nigerian singer Teni, Afrobeat artists Bella Shmurda Omah Lay, Suspect 95 from the Ivory Coast, Kenya’s Bahati, and Tanzania’s Zuchu will also play at the event.
The virtual performance, presented by award-winning actor Idris Elba, will be aired on MTV stations and streamed to a global audience on YouTube.
Well, Gyakie continues to make Ghana proud as she dominates the international market with her craft.
Recall, she is the first African female act to be featured to Spotify.
Her song, “Forever’ has made her one of the fast-rising entertainers in Africa.
