Shatta Wale Apologises To Road Contractors For Alleged Assault (Video)

Charles Nii Armah, better known as Shatta Wale, the Ghanaian dancehall and afrobeat singer, has apologized to the road contractors who were reportedly beaten yesterday during the incident.

Shatta Wale and his Nima lads are said to have wreaked havoc on the East Legon road, which was under construction at the time. According to reports, Mr. Kennedy Acquah claimed that the artist assaulted him during the brawl on May 31st, 2021, in the late hours of the night.

The statement came only hours after Kennedy Acquah, a project manager at Oswal Investment Limited, asked Shatta Wale issue a public apology for instructing thugs to attack him and other road construction workers.

Shatta Wale apologized to the contractors who were abused on his social media page. “Hello, as you all know, my name is Shatta Wale, and I think there is some rumor circulating about me having a fight with some contractors, and as I said, the individual in question is my father, my friend,” he stated.

“He’s somebody that I always wanted to meet but it’s so unfortunate things had to happen this way but I also want to say sorry to Kennedy for everything that happened. I believe he will find a place in his heart to forgive me…’’

The artist also denied giving any money to the purported contractor for the construction.

“To all the bloggers too that are saying I’ve given some contractor 4 million Ghana cedis. I believe you guys should really stop circulating false news. I’ve not given nobody 4 million Ghana cedis or dollars..” he said.
