Dope Nation, the Ghanaian Hiplife duo, has disclosed a secret to the world about how the musical duo, who are also identical twin brothers, Micheal Boafo, better known as B2, and Tony Boafo, better known as Twist, frequently generate confusion among fans as to who is B2 and who is Twist.

In a recent interview with Kofi Cephas on the GhGossip.com YouTube channel’s “In The Neighborhood” show, the twin brothers disclosed a simple technique to tell them apart in public.

B2, who is also known for producing successful songs like as Shatta Wale’s “Kpuu Kpaa,” Joey B ft EL’s “Wow,” Joey B and EL’s “Sebgefia,” Ebony Reigns’ “Poison,” Eazzy ft Mr. Eazi’s “Forever,” Pappy Kojo’s “Nana Ama,” and many more, said that his favorite color is black.

Twist also claimed that he is the more colorful of the two brothers, since he is free to wear any color or style he wants, unlike his twin brother, who is usually dressed in black. He also said that he is the most vocal of the two, the one who is constantly talking.

The brothers recently opened out about what transpired that prompted them to depart Lynx Entertainment and their connection with the label’s other musicians.

They said that they still have a strong relationship with the label’s CEO, Richie Mensah, as well as musicians such as Kidi and Kuami Eugene. They went on to say that anytime they see these musicians make new music, they share it online.

Dada Hafco, when asked about the likelihood of highlife dying with the departure of legends like Amakye Dede and Daddy Lumba, refuted the allegation.

Highlife -infused songs, he claims, have gotten a lot of radio in the last ten years. He claims that the main issue is that highlife musicians do not identify with the genre.

“There are a lot of artists in Ghana who would never declare themselves highlife artists if the VGMA hadn’t put them in the highlife categories.”

On the TV3 NewDay show, Terry Asare Boamah, known Dada Hafco, explained the cover-up to….continue reading
