“Marriage Doesn’t Come With Any Special Blessing” – Clemento Suarez
According to comedian Clemento Suarez, many people believe that marriage brings them benefits, but this is a cliche that has no basis in reality.
During the recent Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, when Diana Hamilton was named Artiste Of The Year, the comedic actor made this comment to Zion Felix. He argued that blessings came from the Lord and that God blesses those whom he chooses to bless, not necessarily because they married.
Clemento Suarez went on to say that marriage provides respect to the man or woman who chooses to marry, rather than actual blessings from God or whichever supreme entity one believes in.
However, though it is often assumed that his collaborations with luminaries such as Castro Underfire and Samini have honed him into a witty, insightful, and instructive lyricist, Kofi Kinaata insists that this is not the case.
Apart from honing his songwriting talents under the guidance of the aforementioned luminaries, the ‘CONFESSION' singer has discovered that promoting new songs in Ghana is extremely tough and expensive, therefore he is obliged to write songs that people would readily like.
