Despite the fact that the living conditions in Ghana are comparable to those in hell, even Satan, the father of hell, would not beg to stay in the nation, according to the ‘Barack Obama’ singer, Abubakar Ahmed, Blakk Rasta who is a vocal critic of bad administration in most African countries.
The reggae artist was commenting on his Zylofon Radio Drive show, where he frequently criticizes the country’s authorities for giving lip service but doing little to aid ordinary residents.
“Politicians reap what they have not sown, while citizens are forced to work hard in the land,” Blakk Rasta said and continued that “You (our politicians) are our leaders but you behave as if the country belongs to you”.
“You allow Ghanaians to do the hard work in the country and you sit somewhere and think of how you are going to make yourselves richer. You treat Ghanaians like slaves. We are tired of this”, he emphasized.
Despite his 2016 pledges, the Nana Addo-led administration has failed to live up to expectations, according to the radio personality. He asked the president to resign in 2019 since he is constantly napping at public events.
He claimed in an interview with Metro TV that the current President, H.E Nana Addo, is ten years over his retirement age and so should not be in charge.
Blakk Rasta backed up his claim by citing rumors that the President had been seen napping at a global conference in Russia. It’s an indication, he says, that Nana Addo is exhausted and needs to relax.
“He flies in a charted-flight all the way to Russia, see how many miles we have between Ghana and Russia, you couldn’t sleep well in your business class charted flight. Now taxpayers are paying for this, you arrive in Russia and you are caught dozing … you’ll wake up and sign contracts you’ve not heard because you were fast asleep” he ended.
