Wendy Asiamah Addo, known professionally known as Wendy Shay, the Ghanaian artist, has disclosed the source of her new appearance.
Wendy Shay’s new style caught the attention of Ghanaians a few weeks ago, and many have asked why.
Wendy Shay, in the opinion of many Ghanaians, is attempting to imitate the late Ghanaian dancehall queen Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, better known in showbiz as Ebony.
Wendy Shay has disclosed the actual inspiration for her new appearance, proving that these Ghanaians were wrong after all.
She revealed this when she went on KalyJay’s Space on Twitter and said in her submission:
“I want to be noticed. I wanted something unique while still rocking my natural hair, so I sought God for help and He gave me a vision, thus God inspired my new look.”
In the same interview, she stated that marriage will never force her to give up music, and she stated this in response to a question from one of her admirers. She stated in her submission:
“I’m not going to stop doing music because I’m married. I’m looking for a man that gets me and understands what I do for a living. He has to be a God-fearing man with the same goal as me.”
