“Creating Of Controversial Music Has Always Been My Style” – Legendary Singer, AB Crentsil

Alfred Benjamin Crentsil, better known in showbiz as A.B Crentsil, a well-known Ghanaian High Life artist, has admitted that he enjoys writing songs about controversial topics.

The famed singer, composer, and music arranger acknowledged that his musical style has sparked debate. According to him, music fans loved it, and as a result, every song he released became a smash.

In an interview with United Showbiz on United Television, the popular “Moses” singer admitted that it was his style to write songs about controversial topics.

There’s no denying that he recorded provocative songs like “Moses,” “Atia,” “Angelina,” and a few more, which went global and are still considered classics today.

Whitney Boakye, a pundit on the, said why he disclosed that causing controversies was his way. Was it his style that inspired him to do controversial songs, United Showbiz inquired?

He reacted by adding that he enjoyed writing controversial songs because people liked them, and when he did, it became a smash. And he profited from it.

Despite Media honored A. B for his significant contributions to the Ghanaian music business on the night. For his musical talents, he was given a Hisense double-decker fridge, a 52-inch flat-screen TV, and Ghc10,000.
