Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., better known as Shatta Wale, the award-winning Ghanaian dancehall artist, has stated that whomever founded the Ghanaian music industry must apologize to Ghanaians since what he created has failed.
Shatta Wale, for example, has been at odds with some of the creative arts industry’s major actors. Almost every major player in the industry has become a victim of his melodrama.
He recently launched assaults on Sadiq Abu Abdulai, the CEO of 3Music Network, citing difficulties with his award programs. Shatta Wale claims he received 11 plaques in one night after Sadiq told him he doesn’t like Sarkodie and Stonebwoy.
Shatta Wale’s venom has been tasted by the likes of Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, an entertainment writer and proprietor of the VGMA award system, as well as other industry professionals.
Shatta Wale recently tweeted that the creator of Ghana’s music business owes all Ghanaians an apology since it appears that what he struggled to establish is progressively crumbling owing to the amount of irresponsibility and bad managerial skills of its participants.
He wrote; Shadrack Amonoo Crabe said Whoever Invented Ghana Music Industry, Have to Render an Apology to all Ghanaians!!
