Michael Owusu Addo, Sarkodie, the popular Ghanaian rapper, has stated that winning a Grammy award will bring him and his followers immense delight.
In an interview posted on Kalyjay’s Twitter page, the Grammy-winning rapper stated that the Grammy award and accolade is something that every musician in the world aspires to accomplish.
“That is the pinnacle of an artist’s career, and that is what they strive for.” He stated his case.
He subsequently revealed that he has been yearning for the award since his ‘Sarkology’ album was out in 2014, but that it will be a tremendous honor for his career.
“It’ll be the cherry on top of my career,” he continued.
Finally, the Coachella hitmaker thanked his fans for their support since the beginning of his musical career and urged them to continue to support him and other Ghanaian musicians.
