“I Never Thought Of Becoming A Musician” – MzVee

Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, well known in the entertainment industry as MzVee, the Ghanaian singer and songwriter, has revealed that she never saw herself as an entertainer or a public person.

She said in an interview with Kojo Manuel on Y 107.9 FM's ‘Dryve Of Your Lyfe' program that music was never in her plans and that she didn't even know what she wanted to be since she was so confused that she kept changing her mind about what she wanted to do.

“This music thing was never in my thoughts at all,” she explained. “I grew up extremely confused, I had no clue what I wanted to become, therefore my mind kept shifting on what profession I wanted to pursue.”

She went on to say that music was a blessing she unintentionally discovered and took advantage of, despite the fact that she had no prior knowledge of the genre and was not an entertainer.

“Music is a blessing I stumbled across because I was so unsure of what I wanted to do until it simply came to me by chance, coming from a life where I was extremely reserved and silent.” She continued.
