MOG Beatz, the well-known Ghanaian sound engineer, has weighed in on the recent controversy surrounding the dancehall artist Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., popularly known as Shatta Wale, who was shot in East Legon.
Shatta Wale was shot by unknown assailants in his area of East Legon yesterday, according to reports. Nana Dope, his publicist, broke the news, revealing that he has been taken to a private hospital's emergency department for treatment. The gunmen, according to Nana Dope's post, are presently on the run after perpetrating the crime.
This comes following a prophecy by a man of God named Jesus Ahuofe, who stated that Shatta Wale will be shot by unknown individuals and that he must seek God's intervention to avoid disaster.
The Ghana Police Service also issued a statement claiming that Shatta Wale is missing from his home and that no one they called has confirmed the event.
MOG, who has had a long-standing feud with Shatta Wale, feels that the artist staged the incident on purpose.
