Shatta Wale is planning a strategy to market his GOG Album, according to US-based Ghanaian rapper Sam Safo, also known as Showboy, who claims that Shatta Wale is forcing himself into prison for an album that he feels would fade out within 72 hours of its release.
Shatta Wale, as you may recall, staged a publicity stunt in response to a shooting incident in East Legon. According to information obtained Monday night, the artist was shot by unknown assailants and was taken to an unidentified hospital’s emergency room.
He was detained on Tuesday night after turning himself in at the police station, and he was forced to appear in court for the first time yesterday. Unfortunately, the musician’s bail was rejected, and he was detained in police prison for one week while the matter was reopened.
Showboy says Shatta Wale is purposely inflicting a jail term on himself in order to promote his upcoming GOG Album. Shatta Wale is attempting to market his GOG Album amid the recent controversy, according to Showboy, but the album will only fade out of the system 72 hours after it is published.
