Mona Faiz Montrage, better known by her stage as Mona4Reall, has admitted that she was not prepared to pursue music as a career.

She told YFM’s Kokonsa Kester that she did not feel prepared to begin her music career after winning Uncovered Artiste of the Year at the recent Ghana UK Awards. “I wasn’t simply prepared; I felt unprepared,” she explained.

Hajia4Real is now available. Mona4Reall claims that she has to concentrate on her vocals in order to polish her songs. “I think I need to get some vocal training.” “I really wanted to be flawless before going out there,” she explained, “but after a while, I discovered I could do music and work on my voice at the same time.”

Regardless, the singer reaffirmed her love for music, saying that it is something she has always wanted to pursue. She remarked, “It’s something I’ve always wanted to do.”

She also defined her music as Afropop with a Dancehall twist, but she wants to offer her audience what they desire.

“I do Afropop and a little bit of dancehall,” she explained, “but for now, I simply want to see what the audience likes from me and then deliver it to them.”
