“I Now Charge $100K For An Hour Interview With Me”-Shatta Wale Says
Following his present position, Ghanaian award-winning dancehall artist Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., commonly known as Shatta Wale, has set a charge for any media outlet wishing to interview him.
Following a prophecy given by a man of God named Jesus Ahuofe, Shatta Wale was arrested after faking a gun attack against himself a few days earlier. Shatta Wale, together with three of his crew members, his publicist, and the other two members, staged a publicity hoax.
Shortly after, he was apprehended and charged with inciting fear and alarm with his pretend gun attack. The Accra Circuit Court remanded him in police detention for a week in the Ankaful maximum jail in the Central Region. Shatta Wale and his three crew mates were eventually given bail in the amount of $100,000.
Most news organizations would like to have him in their studios to discuss his ‘fake' gun attack and his time in prison. Shatta Wale has stated that he would not give an interview to any media outlet.
He is, however, always eager to do so provided the media outlet is willing to give him $100,000 for an hour of interview.
Taking to his Facebook, he wrote; Mek I do interview for what ? 1 hour of my time is $100K Abi you want to know, SO PAY
