Court Grants Funny Face Ghc 20k Bail
Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, commonly known as Funny Face, the popular Ghanaian comedy performer, has been granted a GHC20,000 bail with two sureties.
Funny Face was discovered at the Kofi TV studios a few weeks ago after threatening to kill his ex-wife, girlfriend, and himself in a series of videos on his Instagram page. He was subsequently detained and refused bail until a psychiatric facility was ordered for him to be brought to.
After his bail, the Kaneshi District Court ordered Funny Face to report to the police station twice a week. His case has also been rescheduled until November 24th.
Nana Yaw Benson is also said to have been released from the mental facility following two medical tests. Despite the fact that his case was postponed until November 10th, Funny Face was summoned before the Accra High Court today to submit his medical findings. Funny Face has been advised to take a month off from social media.
In the year 2020, Funny Face married Vanessa and they had twins together. After they split up, Vanessa departed with their twins, and the two began to have problems. On October 17th, he came to Facebook to threaten the lives of his baby mom Vanessa and his ex-first wife.
