Amoah Yaw Randy, popularly known as Yaw Berk, the talented Ghanaian Afrobeat artist, has denied rumors that he is capitalizing on the popularity of the latest hit, Black Sherif, to promote his music brand.
Yaw Berk revealed in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM that he had been in the music industry for a long time before Black Sherif was on the scene. He states that some people would trash his entries, but to be honest, he has been around for quite some time.
He described Black Sherif as a younger brother and a junior colleague, adding said despite his name being on practically everyone’s lips in Ghana, he will never use his celebrity to promote his trade.
Yaw Berk said that he and Black Sherif recorded the song before Black Sherif released his Sermons, which propelled him to popularity.
Meanwhile, People without the Covid -19 vaccination will not be allowed entry into events this December, according to Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Mark Okraku Mantey.
