Samini has already revealed the poor connection he has with his mentee Stonebwoy on Joy FM this week.
Because of Stonebwoy’s recent nasty demeanor and statements, the evergreen Reggae/Dancehall expert simply said that he was no longer okay with him. According to reports, Samini said:
“I’m too old to sit here and deceive or throw dust in people’s eyes or pretend,” she said on Joy FM. He started, “Me and my younger brother ain’t as pleasant as we used to be as I used to know him because of some circumstances I didn’t foresee while or down the line in our jobs, and he had become Independent while I was still on the A-List.”
Samini revealed that he used to have an excellent relationship with Stonebwoy and had defended him several times, so he had no idea why he labeled him a sellout.
“He has a way of linking me on a message, and I have a way of telling him to calm down, maybe don’t talk on the radio so much, maybe do this, maybe do that, so if I know that I and you have that rapport, and I hear you on the radio say that when you need me I’m not there, it hurts,” he continued.
“It makes me nauseous and breaks down like is he saying this to simply keep the situation going?” he continued. or is he saying that because now I’m not sure what’s going on, but if I’m a part of it, he doesn’t appear to be as important in the room since I didn’t receive that response?”
“I let that go, then the major clash occurred, and you were on stage, and Wale went to choose one of my songs, and you took the mike and said, ‘If you’re going to pick a song, you’re going to pick a song from a father who sold out his son.’ “How could I sell Stonebwoy out?” he wondered.
As a result, Stonebwoy’s exuberantly ‘gatecrashed’ Samini’s interview session straight after the meeting with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and announced his impending December performance came as a great shock.
After a burst of bubbly laughing, Stonebwoy bolted, causing Samini to tell reporters who were interviewing him at the time that such things happen when you have a headstrong son as the president of the Bhim Nation.
