Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, the well-known entertainment writer and commentator, has stated that Shatta Wale was nearly imprisoned again after an order from COP Kofi Boakye following his outburst during the IGP’s meeting with the creative arts business.
Following a clash with a police officer, Shatta Wale was reported to have caused a disturbance at the meeting. According to sources, Shatta Wale was questioned about why he was using his phone in the auditorium, and as a result, he responded inappropriately and was removed out.
The dancehall performer was heard complaining about how he was being questioned about why he was using his phone during the meeting in a video that circulated on social media.
Arnold Asamoah Baidoo offered a dramatic account of what transpired during the meeting on this weekend’s United Showbiz, which aired on UTV. COP Kofi Boakye, he claims, ordered Shatta Wale to be locked up again for his behavior during the meeting.
He said that it was only through the involvement of A-Plus and Socrate Safo that the COP was able to prevent the artist from being detained again. He stated that the COP was dissatisfied with the musician’s actions in front of the IGP during the meeting and had ordered that he be detained.
