“I Wish I Wrote Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ Song” – American Singer, Ne-Yo
Ne-Yo, the award-winning American artist, has stated that he wishes he had written the smash song “Essence,” which is owned by Wizkid and includes Tems.
The music artist discussed his favorite songs in an interview with NME, an American entertainment magazine.
When asked what song he wishes he could have created, he said Wizkid’s “Essence.”
The song, according to Ne-Yo, is one of those that just makes sense and that he wishes he had thought of it first.
He also said that he had met the Smile singer before, but he doubted that the Nigerian superstar would recall their encounter.
Ne-Yo also expressed his admiration for Big Wiz’s recent movements, calling him one of the next-generation musicians he admires.
“It’s one of those recordings that simply makes sense,” he remarked of Essence. You’re not going to say anything because they can replay it 17 times and you’re just going to let it happen. I wish I’d come up with the idea first.
I just met him once, and he didn’t remember me. But I’m really proud of that man for making the decisions he has. He’s one of the younger generations for whom I have true admiration.”
However, Chichiz, the young T’aadi rapper, has resorted to social media to describe how radio hosts are undermining his career.
The rapper, who rose to fame after appearing on one of Ghana’s most popular music reality series, TV3 Mentor, revealed this in a recent Facebook post.
