I Don’t Know The Whereabouts Of One Of My Sons – UT Bank’s Kofi Amoabeng

The embattled Chief Executive Officer of defunct UT Bank, Captain Prince Kofi Amoabeng has disclosed that he does not know the whereabouts of one of his sons.

The businessman Kofi Amoabeng disclosed that in the quest of building the UT empire, ended up affecting the bond he had with his family which resulted in a gap amongst them.

Speaking to the host of Prime Morning Show, Benjamine Akakpo, Kofi Amoabeng said the detachment between him and his children affected their upbringing. He disclosed that his children did not turn up to be what he had always anticipated.

“So I had all the time or the attention to pay to the company that I was building. But all the same, my kids who were studying and other things, I didn't have time for them as much as I would have liked. And some of them did not turn out the way I wanted them to turn out.

“One of my boys, I don't even know where he is…He refuses to get in touch with me. I have an idea he's probably in Chicago, but that's a different story. I don't know where he is. And it's because he felt I wasn't there for him”, he explained.

Kofi Amoabeng however took the blame for the rift between himself and his son. According to him, his constant neglect caused it.
