Mavin Records' golden boy has slammed popular DJ Neptune on Twitter for releasing their collaborative song without his permission.

DJ Neptune's new album ‘Greatness 2.0' was released in the early hours of Friday, November 26, 2021, and one of the tracks on the album is titled ‘For You,' which features .

Rema, who was apparently offended by the song's release, expressed his displeasure on Twitter, claiming that the song was released without his permission. The 21-year-old claimed that he and DJ Neptune had not communicated prior to the release.

“With all due respect chief! Dropped my old record without due process?!! I'm not happy at all. @deejayneptune,” Rema wrote on his tweeter page.

He added; “Don't violate the codes, can't drop my song without my notice, can't even remember the last time we spoke big bro, I pleaded with my manager behind the scenes when y'all tagged me before it dropped, y'all still went ahead! c'mon nau!”

Rema warned DJ Neptune and other artists not to take his humility for granted. He also believes that calling out the DJ will make him more enemies in the music industry, but he doesn't mind because God is bigger than the industry.

“This GAME! Don't ride on my humility, there are some things I can't be talked out of and number 1 is my ART, if you're not ok with it then if it's war it's WAR. Don J go vex for me, Baba forgive me but this no join at all.” DJ Neptune was yet to respond to Rema.
