Kwesi Arthur’s stern father, who doubles as an elder of the Church of Pentecost, followed him to a barbershop and made his admirers laugh.
Kwesi Arthur has had to alter his hair a few times throughout the years, as you may recall.
His father, it appears, is a devout Christian who is particular about how his children present themselves in public. His dreadlocks had become a source of friction in the household, so Mr. Danso decided to accompany his son to the barbershop and see how he wanted his hair trimmed to reflect his ideals.
Most musicians appear to be on their own, free to dress as they choose, but this is not the case with Kwesi.
It was all in good fun, as the barber and Kwesi Arthur grinned as he got shaved in front of his father.
