Wode Maya, the popular Ghanaian Youtuber, has proposed that Ghana create a statue to honor the great Ghanaian striker Asamoah Gyan, who is credited with placing Ghana on the world map.
In a tweet, the Ghanaian YouTuber, who is most known for his tourism-related films, explained why the Ghanaian player should be remembered with a statue.
When Wode Maya enters a nation and tells them he is from Ghana, Asamoah Gyan is the first person that comes to mind.
Asamoah Gyan, he claims, has made a name for himself in the name of the country, and his achievements have taken him all across Africa.
