In a recent interview, Ghanaian actor turned preacher, Majid Michel, discussed his church attendance.
He claims that he dislikes attending church, as he stated in a recent appearance on Joy FM’s The Reason is Jesus.

Majid began by saying that he despises waking up early in the morning and that this has been a trait of his since he was a youngster.

I’ve never been a big fan of going to church. I don’t attend church because I despise getting up in the morning. My siblings have ridiculed me about it since I was a child.

I said during church, “Mum, I want to eat bread and eggs.” The service starts too early, and I’ve never loved religion in my life, and I still don’t.
