“My Mom Thought I Will Become A Lawyer” – Yvonne Nelson Explains

Because of the way conducted herself as a child, her mother believed she would grow up to be a lawyer.

The actress, whose renown grew beyond Ghana's borders, claimed she developed the practice of keeping track of everything that happened in a book for future reference. In a post on her Instagram account, she addressed the issue.

Mum thought i'd end up a lawyer someday because at 10years or so i used to have this book where i record everything everyone did when she was away on her travels…….mama, what do you think about me now? I still have my book you know…..someday i'll let the world read it. she wrote.

“I Won’t Advice Myself To Date An Industry Person” – Gyakie

Ghanaian artist has opened up about her misgivings about dating a man who works in the music or creative arts fields.

Although love is undoubtedly lovely, stated in a recent interview with 3FM that romantic connections with individuals in your career could be challenging.

She would not be dating anyone in the industry for the time being, even if she accepted that love is erratic.

If there's another version of myself, I won't counsel myself to do that. As it might be quite risky, I wouldn't suggest doing that.

“Love is a beautiful thing. I wouldn't say it's wrong, but at the same time, right now, I wouldn't advise myself to be with an industry person,” Gyakie said.

According to the co-founder of the legendary DWP, he has played the biggest role in making songs reach global heights. However,  he thinks that apart from legendary dancers Paa Tee and Adjetey Sowah, he is the next big thing to have happened to the Ghanaian dance industry.

“I Feel Comfortable In Men Clothes” – Gyakie Reveals

Despite being a woman, , a multi-award-winning artist from Ghana, has revealed why she dresses like a boy.

Co-host Berla Mundi questioned about the sources of her fashion inspiration during an appearance on TV3's New Day program. Gyakie feels as though she dresses more tomboyishly.

In response, Gyakie stated that while selecting an outfit, comfort comes first.

Comfort is something I've always liked. “I believe boys look great in what they wear,” the woman remarked.

The award-winning singer continued by saying that there are times when she dresses more femininely and exudes a girly feel. The tight corset, however, usually prevents her from breathing while wearing her attire. 

“I dress how I feel about myself. I want to walk about without fretting.” 

She said that there would never be any pink clothing in her wardrobe since she felt it was too princessy.
