“Our Unborn Children Are Even Owing Because Of Our Leaders” – Bishop Agyinasare
According to Perez Chapel International's Presiding Bishop, the country's future revenue has been mortgaged over time as a result of the country's debt.
In an interview broadcast on Joy FM's “A Walk With Jesus” on Sunday, he added that this borrowing attitude has existed from the beginning of time.
If the borrowing culture continues, he believes it will have a huge detrimental influence on the next generation.
Therefore, our unborn offspring are already owed for the next 30 years,” he said.
Bishop Agyinasare asked the country's authorities to rethink how future resources should be used to save future generations.
When asked about Ghana's national agenda, he said that the country needed a strategic strategy.
He believes the country needs a strategic strategy for development initiatives so that leaders can be held responsible for their commitments.
Because of the lack of a strategic strategy, he claims, “any administration comes and plays with our [Ghanaians] emotions.”
He also chastised governments for politicizing education, arguing that their children are affected.
“Today is JSS, tomorrow is JHS, the next time is four years, the next time is three years, the next time it's two tracks, the next time it's no track, we're complicating everything, and there's no clear cut for our children,” he explained.
He also decried the Ghanaian currency's decline.
If it's like this today, and five or ten years from now, if we don't modify what we're doing, we won't have good outcomes, “he remarked.
