Kofi Kinaata and Ayesem

Ayesem, the hip-life/hip-hop artist, has stated that he will never seek for a collaboration again since Kinaata has repeatedly denied him.

In an exclusive interview with Nana Adwoa Arthur on Connect FM’s afternoon drive-time show “Yenko fie,” the rapper said that his attempt to get to appear on a song was unsuccessful.

Ayesem continued his experience. “I heard him mention someplace that I didn’t approach him the appropriate way.” He didn’t even call me or my management when he needed me for his “Made in Taadi” show. He left me a phone message ordering me to cancel my gigs in order to attend his. I’m not sure how he wants me to approach him because we joked about it.

“I phoned him in 2019 when COVID was at its pinnacle for the same reason, and he informed me he’d disassembled his studio due to COVID.” When the dust settled, he pledged to come through for me. I’m not sure if he’ll contact me right now or later.

So I’ve made a promise to myself that I won’t call for another cooperation. Whether or not the partnership happens, I’m still Ayesem. I don’t need him to make it because I wrote the song that made me feel alone in the first place. “No one came to my aid,” Ayesem concluded.
